Words & Eccentricities

A Scrapbook Excerpt…

On a clear November night, we set out to see the moon. in our black and white stripes, we headed for the river. we waited for the moon and his miracles. we kissed and held hands and laughed. we took picture after picture. we talked all night. about serious things and things with no meaning. we shared dreams and fears and obsessions. we breathed in the same fishy river air. we breathed whiffs of each other’s hair. we tugged at each others’ hearts and striped shirts. and we stared at the yellow moon turning silver in the river, and we forgot about his miracles.
we were miracles on our own.
